Kliphuis Camp
“Die Kliphuis” is a rustic camp about 5Km from the main camp on the 4×4 route. It can only be reached by 4×4.
This is the ideal camping site for those who would like to be on their own and who do not want to see or hear anybody else around them.
Many years ago the farmers use to stay next to this cliff when they went into the mountains to cut Buchu. Because they stayed next to this big rock it became their “home” when in the veld, thus the name “Klip Huis”.
From here you can take daily hikes into the mountains. Black eagles are nesting not far from here.
Here you can pitch your tent next to the cliff if you are a small group or at the foot of the cliff you you are a bigger group.
The camp do have a rock building with hot showers, running water and flushing toilets.

also, what activites are there? Are we able to bring our own quad bikes and 2 wheelers?
